Addiction Meeroos Fellowship Gardens

Addiction Meeroos park is a fellowship sim, which is beautifully designed with a fantasy garden theme. You arrive at a small garden area surrounded by giant orchids and Dryad meeroos. As you move through the sim, you pass around through the meeroo pens that are free to fellowship members. The pens are interspersed with mushroom umbrella’d  trestle tables for the sale of nests. Cobbled pathways pass through flower filled meadows and trees, linking the different areas together.  Head towards the southern edge of the sim and you will see a huge tree with ivy draped platforms built in to its branches. The lower branches contain an open market. It is laid out in sections based on the five meeroo personalities, each section contains spaces for common, uncommon and rare nests. The whole market is decorated with a wood and log theme, in keeping with the fantasy garden theme of the sim. Stairs from this level wind around the tree to an auction area in the upper branches. Again the décor is sympathetic to the garden theme, with wooden benches and stumps to sit on.

The market and auction are both free to members of the fellowship and members of the public, but they do ask you tip your auctioneer 10% of the final sale price, which is customary throughout the meeroo auction circuit. Auctions are held every week end at the tree top location.

The sim has just reopened after extensive remodelling and Addiction Meeroos have space for 12 additional meeroo fellows.  Due to the fact the sim has only just reopened, there is not yet a large selection of nests on sale, but the free open market should soon fill up. We did find nests on sale for as low a sL$50. We will report back in a short while to let you know who the market area progresses.

The fellowship is a group of friends all wanting to share the meeroo experience, below is a greeting from the fellowship founder Megan Corpur

Greetings fellow Meeroo lovers!

Let me tell you all what Addiction Meeroos is about.

Obviously, the addiction is more than just an addiction; more like a religion(lol). We are not perfect, we are not top 10, (we are 20 on leader board for those of a competitive nature), though maybe someday we will be. Regardless, we don’t care! We’re here for the roo, we’re here for our family. Addiction is the kind of place where you log on and you hear “Good morning everyone!! Anyone get anything good? Tell me tell me!” We’re excited about hearing each other progress, there is no jealousy, simply sharing.

Addiction is a place where if you get caught up with your real life and miss a few days, you come back to an empty food dish and panic till you realize one of your fellows scooted you some food and saved your butt.

Addiction is so many things to me and if you are looking for a safe, friendly, helpful fellowship where you can rest your weary Meeroo tending hands… Addiction would love to have you… and if you’re like me and lay awake at night thinking over breeding strategy, well you most certainly belong with us!

Fellowship members receive the following;

For one, all members receive a pen on our beautiful sim!( each member is allower 120 prims)

Included with those pens is 24/7 petting, even if you have your Meeroos at your home, we allow notices to be sent out for those of us who love to make our petting rounds

We have group chat, trade chat, selling/trading areas, we have 10L raffle boards if you would like to raffle off your roos, or buy some tickets for those up for raffle! Also, live auction soon.

We offer help for new members, strategies for old/new members and we also have contests! In the recent weeks we had a “hidden nest” contest and some fabulous rare roos (koi, cinder, ambers, etc…) were set out for our members to hunt them down.

Last, but most important we have a strict NO DRAMA policy, which happens to be my favourite kind of policy

To join or for more information please send a note card to either  Megan Corpur (Fellowship founder) or Daarc Dagger.

We don't get paid to write this blog, we do it because we love the meeroos and the sense of community. If you think this resource was uesful then our meeroos would be greatful of any donations you generously make, to enable them to buy nibbles.

Thank you
